To close out the events of the La Paloma festival, Mari Pepa gave a concert in the Vistillas Gardens with a wonderful audience, who enjoyed joining her in every song, creating a very festive atmosphere<\/span><\/p>\n

August,15 \/ 2025 \u2013 Popular Virgin Day in Madrid\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Mari Pepa sang her own Lord’s Prayer during High Mass and Hail Mary during the lowering of the statue by the Madrid firefighters.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the afternoon, she sang her own Salve in front of the statue of the Virgin of the Dove before it was taken out in procession.<\/span><\/p>\n

At midnight, she sang the Salve in front of the statue of the Virgin in the Plaza de la Paja.<\/span><\/p>\n

August, 11 \/ 2025 \u2013 Castizo’s Day & Chotis dance competition<\/span><\/h1>\n

The celebration of Mass on the day of Los Castizos was as moving as every year for the people who attended and for Mari Pepa, who sang the Mass songs she composed.<\/span><\/p>\n

After Mass, the 5th Chotis Competition, organized by the Virgen de la Paloma parish, was held with a large audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

A memorable concert, a packed venue with a wonderful audience; many young people dressed in traditional costumes, constantly participating in the show with their singing, making the gala an outpouring of joy and a constant display of affection and admiration for Mari Pepa, who, very moved, thanked them and said goodbye after a few encores.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miguel Tub\u00eda, as always, brilliant on the piano, and Esther and Jes\u00fas M\u00e1rquez delighted the audience with their masterful dancing of chotis and pasodobles.<\/span><\/p>\n
